Men are usually taller than women, but how much?
Men are generally taller than women all over the world. There are some exception but men are usually 5.25 inches taller than their ideal women. The rule of it is that a 6 foot 2 inch tall man's ideal woman's height would be 5'8.5'' with 5.5 inches difference and a 5'5'' tall man's ideal woman would be around 5'' with five inch difference. The height difference between the two gender in tall people is more compared to short people, so the ideal height difference between male and female would be close to 5.25 inch as the average height of men in developed countries is 5'8'' to 5'9.5'' and 5'5'' to 5'7'' in most of the developing countries.
so if a woman is taller than a man by 2 inches, that means if the woman would be a man sHe would tower that man by 7.5 inch difference.
